Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how PODPilot Apps LLC ("PODPilot," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our website at podpilotapps.com (the "Site") and our Shopify applications, including PODPilot for Printify (collectively, the "Apps"). PODPilot Apps LLC is registered in Knoxville, Tennessee, United States.
We've split this policy into two parts: information we handle through the Site, and information our Apps process inside your Shopify store.
Part A — Website
1. Information we collect on the Site
When you visit the Site or join a waitlist or early-access list, we may collect your name, email address, and any details you choose to provide. We also collect basic technical and usage data (such as pages visited and device or browser information) through analytics.
2. How we use Site information
We use this information to respond to inquiries, send updates you've requested, operate and improve the Site, and process any purchases. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Third-party services we use
We rely on trusted third parties to operate the Site and communicate with you, including: website analytics providers; email and marketing tools; live-chat support (Crisp); and payment processors for any purchases. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services, under their own privacy terms.
4. Cookies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for basic functionality, analytics, and (where applicable) chat. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect Site functionality.
Part B — App Data (PODPilot Shopify Apps)
5. What the Apps access
When you install one of our Apps, you grant it permission to access certain data in your Shopify store. Depending on the App, this may include store and shop details, products and variants, orders and fulfillment data, and related metadata. Where an App connects to a print-on-demand provider such as Printify, it also accesses order, cost, and production data from that provider on your behalf.
6. Why the Apps access it
We access this data solely to provide the App's functionality — for example, syncing orders between Shopify and Printify, surfacing costs and order status inside your Shopify admin, monitoring for issues, and writing data back to your store where you've enabled a feature. We process this data on your behalf, as the merchant's service provider.
7. Buyer (customer) data
Some store data we process may include limited information about your customers (for example, order and shipping details needed to fulfill an order). We use this data only to operate the App's features for you and do not use it to build independent profiles, and we do not sell it.
8. Data sharing
We share data only as needed to run the Apps: with Shopify, with the print-on-demand provider you've connected, and with infrastructure and tooling providers that host and support our Apps (such as our application hosting and database providers). We do not sell merchant or buyer data to third parties.
9. Data retention
We retain store data only as long as needed to provide the App or as required by law. When you uninstall an App, we delete or de-identify the associated store data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes. You may request deletion at any time.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we handle. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and limit access to it.
General
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, or to opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@podpilotapps.com.
12. International users
We are based in the United States, and information we process may be stored and handled in the U.S. By using the Site or Apps, you understand your information may be processed in the United States.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected here.
